Target Roofing & Sheet Metal jumped 34 spots to No. 202 overall on Business Observer’s 2020 list of the Top 500 Companies on the Gulf Coast. 

Each year, the business publication ranks companies based on annual revenue and employment levelsThe list includes contractors, banks, law firms, insurance companies, medical practices, restaurant chains, auto dealers and many other industries. 

“Business Observer’s reach covers a vast stretch of Florida, from Clearwater south to Marco Island, as well as inland communities,” said Casey Crowther, president of Target Roofing. “Just to be included on the Top 500 list is an accomplishment, but to keep climbing higher every year indicates that each of our employees is working diligently to grow the company in the right way – by being responsive, reliable and committed to excellence. 

In 2019, Target Roofing was ranked No. 236 overall and No. 17 on Business Observer’s coveted list of the “Fastest-Growing Businesses on the Gulf Coast.” 

For 2020, Business Observer notes Target Roofing’s revenue grew 20.8% over the previous year and the company now has 210 full-time positions, making its workforce one of the largest roofing companies on Florida’s gulf coast. Since its inception, Target Roofing has relied on full-time, benefits-eligible employees rather than subcontractors or unskilled laborers to complete roofing installations, repairs and replacements.
