Continuing its commitment to giving back, Target Roofing & Sheet Metal made Easter special for dozens of hospitalized youth at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

“No child wants to miss their family’s Easter celebration because they’re in the hospital,” said Target Roofing President Casey Crowther, “so we brought Easter to them – including the Easter Bunny!”

The Easter Bunny himself hopped into one of Target Roofing’s trucks en route to Golisano Children’s Hospital, where he pushed a buggy full of stuffed animals, toys and games through hallways to personally hand-deliver Easter gifts to excited children.

“We spent several weeks planning this Easter surprise, and it was so gratifying to see children’s expressions and reactions as the Easter Bunny entered their rooms and, at least for a few minutes, they could take their minds off illnesses, surgeries and recovery,” Casey said. “This is the whole reason Target Roofing devotes so much time and resources to charitable causes – we want to help make a difference in the lives of local families.”

Target Roofing recently created a Sponsorship Application to make it easier for local nonprofits and organizations to request help, which includes cash donations, in-kind support, volunteerism and service projects.
